UNLV Hosts National Clean Energy Summit Aug. 19 at Cox PavilionUNLV Hosts National Clean Energy Summit Aug. 19 at Cox Pavilion
Industry leaders, scientists, policy experts, politicians, and citizens will gather at UNLV on Aug. 19 for the National Clean Energy Summit, a one-day event designed to help chart a course to a clean energy future for our nation.

Hosted by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, and UNLV, the event will feature panel discussions with local and national leaders about the development of renewable energy, energy-efficient technologies, and robust clean energy markets in Nevada, the nation, and the world.

Among the panelists and speakers will be Reid, the Senate majority leader; Janet Napolitano, governor of Arizona; and former President Bill Clinton.

The event, which will be held at the Cox Pavilion, is open to the public. Interested individuals can register at cleanenergysummit.org. Registration fees are $150 for the general public and $25 for students.
